Somewhat unsurprisingly, I don’t get it.

It would be like discovering that you have a strange genetic mutation that may be harmful, but may in fact turn out to be benign, or even useful (and certainly looks like it would enable you to kick other people’s asses, if nothing else), and deciding that the most sensible course of action is to freak out and drink a gallon of rat poison. 2. No. Over 80% of Huck and Romney voters consider themselves conservative; less than half of McCain voters say the same thing. To me, that’s not “us” putting him in there or giving him our votes; that is the conservatives splitting their votes among two others, while the more independent people vote for McCain, with a few conservatives thrown in.
