“Doc Hexa” Doesn’t Have the Same Ring to It

British marine biologists have found the world’s only hexapus – an “octo”pus with six legs.   Usually, octopodes that lose a leg will grow another one – kind of like a starfish.   Henry, however, has six and only six.

Poll of the day: Was Henry inspired by Al Gore to reduce his carbon footprint by 25%, or is George Bush responsible for this horrible mutation?  You decide.  (Last H,aP poll may be found here.)

That was the funniest thing I’ve read all week! Thanks for the laughs.

  2. You’re welcome. Care to cast a vote, or do you have a daily limit? :)

  3. Theo,

Pharyngula has a post on this and link to a fairly good explination for how this happens.

    It’s fascinating, actually.

  4. I vote for it being Bush’s fault. It is wonderful to have a scapegoat. It’s Biblical and everything.
