Affirmative Action in Law Firms

Richard Sander’s new law review article is out! For those who don’t know, Richard Sander made waves when he published a law review article in the Stanford Law Review which concluded that minority students are hurt, not helped, by affirmative action, noting the disproporationate drop-out rates, first-time bar failure rates, and overall bar failure rates. (More on this to come.) In this follow-up study, Prof. Sander has studied law firm hiring and promotion practices, again concluding that minority students are hurt by affirmative action.

More later.
