Gourmet Google

Google, in an effort to improve employee productivity and minimise time away from the office, has taken on-site catering to new heights. Oracle, for years, has hired chefs and offered discounted meals to employees, along with free sodas, juices, and coffee. Google, however, has hired chefs from some of San Fran’s finest restaurants and developed eleven cafes, featuring organic foods, international cuisine, and a menu that has this gourmand drooling.

The Washington Post predicts tha, should Google’s profits fall, the company will cut the feeding frenzy. Possibly… but the ever-practical Google, knowing that employees improve productivity with on-site food, may keep its cafes if it ultimately makes money for the company.
